10 Day Itinerary
Day 1 (April 15): Ayubowan, Sri Lanka! – Arrival in Colombo

Touch down in the vibrant island nation of Sri Lanka! After clearing immigration, your private guide will be waiting to welcome you with a warm “Ayubowan.” From the airport, it’s a short drive to the capital, Colombo, where you'll settle into your hotel and unwind after the journey.
In the evening, we’ll come together for a welcome dinner—expect bold flavours, spiced curries, fragrant rice, and a taste of what’s to come.

Day 2 (April 16): Cooking in the Jungle & Up to the Highlands
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, hit the road to Kitulgala—a lush rainforest region known for its natural beauty and outdoor adventures. Here, you’ll roll up your sleeves for a Sri Lankan cooking demonstration with a local chef, offering an authentic glimpse into the island’s culinary traditions.
Later, continue the scenic journey through misty tea country to Nuwara Eliya. Check into your charming colonial-era hill station hotel, complete with wood-burning fireplaces, antique touches, and views of the rolling tea plantations.

Day 3 (April 17): Tea Trails & Highland Tales

Step into the world of world-famous Ceylon tea. Tour a working plantation, meet the pickers, and watch the leaf-to-cup process inside a factory. There’s plenty of time for questions (and tastings!) along the way.
Spend the afternoon your way—wander the quiet colonial streets of Nuwara Eliya, explore a local market, or curl up in your cosy heritage hotel with a good book and a hot cup of tea.

Day 4 (April 18): Scenic Train Ride to Ella

Today’s journey is one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic: the scenic train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella. Grab a window seat as you glide through emerald tea fields, waterfalls, and waving locals.
Arriving in Ella, retreat to your serene jungle escape nestled on a hillside. This boutique stay blends rustic charm with modern comfort, offering sweeping views of the valley and a deep connection to nature.

Day 5 (April 19): Ella Rock Hike & Tuk-Tuk Town Tour

Lace up your boots for a sunrise hike to Ella Rock. This trail rewards you with sweeping valley views and an unforgettable sense of place.
Later, hop into a tuk-tuk for a lively tour through Ella’s vibrant streets. Explore charming local shops, meet friendly residents, and soak up the rich culture and stories that bring this village to life. Return to your peaceful hillside retreat for a well-earned rest.

Day 6 (April 20): Into the Wild – Yala National Park Safari

After breakfast, set off on a thrilling journey south through Sri Lanka’s ever-changing landscapes toward Yala National Park, the island’s premier wildlife sanctuary.
This afternoon, set out on a captivating safari adventure in search of majestic elephants, elusive leopards, sloth bears, and crocodiles. Experience the thrill of the wild from the comfort of your jeep! Afterwards, unwind in your luxurious jungle chalet set on the edge of the park, where wild sounds and starlit skies surround you.

Day 7 (April 21): Morning Safari & Beachbound to Weligama
Meals: Breakfast
Rise early for a second game drive in the golden light of dawn. Morning is the best time for wildlife sightings, and the landscapes are pure magic.
After breakfast, trade the jungle for the sea as you make your way to Weligama, a laid-back surf town on Sri Lanka’s southern coast. Relax and let the ocean breeze wash over you. Check into your beachfront resort, offering all the comforts of a luxury escape—with ocean views, tropical gardens, and a laid-back atmosphere.

Day 8 (April 22): Relax by the Ocean

Feeling curious? Join an optional trip to Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site full of colonial architecture, boutique shops, and ocean views from ancient ramparts.

Day 9 (April 23): Return to Colombo & Farewell Dinner

Make your way back to Colombo with time to relax or explore a little more of the capital’s culture and history.
In the evening, we’ll celebrate the journey with a farewell dinner—sharing stories, laughter, and memories from our Sri Lankan adventure.

Day 10 (April 24): Departure Day – Until Next Time!

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. Whether you’re heading home or onward to more adventures, you’ll be leaving with a heart full of memories and a suitcase that smells faintly of cinnamon.
