Day 1 (Oct 12): Welcome to Egypt! – Arrival in Cairo

Your adventure begins the moment you land in Cairo! Our local representative’ll greet you to transfer you to your hotel, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax after your flight.

This evening, we’ll kick off the trip with a delicious welcome dinner at a traditional Egyptian restaurant. Expect vibrant flavours, warm hospitality, and a glimpse into the culinary culture that awaits.

Day 2 (Oct 13): The Pyramids & Sphinx

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Today, step into one of the world’s most iconic scenes: the Giza Plateau. Stand in awe before the colossal Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus—testaments to ancient engineering and ambition. The Great Pyramid, the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, is sure to leave you speechless.

Next, visit the enigmatic Sphinx, carved with a lion’s body and a king’s face. Dive into legends of buried secrets and mysterious dreams as you explore the Valley Temple, where ancient rites took place.

Day 3 (Oct 14): Egyptian Museum, Street Eats & Khan El Khalili Bazaar

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Begin your morning at the Egyptian Museum, home to an awe-inspiring collection of relics, mummies, and the glimmering treasures of King Tutankhamun, including his iconic gold mask and ornate sarcophagus.

Then, get a taste of real Cairo on a walking food tour. Sample Egyptian sausages, koshari, molokhia, eggplants, and the beloved ful and taamiya. You'll even go behind the scenes to see how some dishes are made.

End your day wandering through the magical alleys of the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, the largest market in the Middle East. Discover spices, lanterns, perfumes, and handmade treasures in this buzzing maze of history and commerce.

Day 4 (Oct 15): Fly to Aswan – Philae Temple by Boat

After breakfast, head to the airport for a short flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, check in and unwind before your next adventure.

In the afternoon, take a scenic motorboat ride to Philae Island, home to the Temple of Isis, dramatically relocated by UNESCO to protect it from rising Nile waters. Explore the elegant columns, courtyards, and sacred chambers of this ancient sanctuary set on the shimmering river.

Day 5 (Oct 16): Felucca on the Nile

Choose your morning:

  • Optional: Abu Simbel Excursion ($350 pp)
    Fly south to marvel at the awe-inspiring temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, carved directly into rock. These majestic monuments gaze out over Lake Nasser and are considered masterpieces of ancient art and engineering. Includes roundtrip flights and a local guide.

  • Leisure morning in Aswan for those staying behind.

Afternoon: Enjoy a tranquil felucca sailing around Elephantine Island. Drift past lush riverbanks, explore botanical gardens, and gaze upon the Aga Khan Mausoleum. It’s a slower-paced, soul-soothing side of Egypt.

Day 6 (Oct 17): Journey to Luxor & Evening Temple Glow

After breakfast, travel through desert landscapes on a private drive to Luxor, the world’s greatest open-air museum.

In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Luxor, where ancient processions once walked along the Avenue of Sphinxes. Marvel at colossal columns and reliefs that tell stories of gods, kings, and sacred festivals. Nestled within its walls is the Mosque of Abu’l Haggag, still used today, blending Islamic and Pharaonic heritage.

Day 7 (Oct 18): Hot Air Balloon & Valley of the Kings & Queens

Optional: Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride ($150 pp)
Float gently above the Nile, ancient temples, and sleepy villages in one of the world’s most iconic balloon rides. An unforgettable way to greet the day.

Morning: Step into the Valley of the Kings, final resting place of New Kingdom pharaohs. Explore vividly decorated tombs, hidden deep within desert hills, including those of Tutankhamun and Seti I (special access, $111 pp supplement).

Continue to the Valley of the Queens, burial site for royal wives and children, known to the ancient Egyptians as “The Place of Beauty.”

Day 8 (Oct 19): Karnak Temple & Transfer to Hurghada

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Explore the colossal Temple of Karnak, one of the largest religious structures ever built. Walk through the grand Hypostyle Hall, where 134 towering columns stretch toward the sky, and uncover layers of myth, devotion, and dynastic power.

Later, drive east across the desert to Hurghada, a Red Sea paradise.

Day 9 (Oct 20): Red Sea Paradise

Today is yours to relax or explore at your own pace. Swim in warm turquoise waters, lounge on sun-soaked beaches, or opt for snorkeling or scuba diving to discover colorful reefs and marine life.

For a touch of adventure, take a boat trip to nearby Giftun Island or go for a sunset quad biking experience through the desert.

Day 10 (Oct 21): Return to Cairo – Farewell Dinner

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Fly back to Cairo this morning. After check-in at your hotel, enjoy a celebratory farewell dinner at a handpicked local restaurant. Raise a glass to ancient wonders, modern discoveries, and unforgettable memories made.

Day 11 (Oct 22): Farewell Egypt – Departure

Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or one last stroll through Cairo. Later, transfer to Cairo International Airport for your onward flight.
