SUNDAY BRUNCH ON TORONTO'S HARBOUR

After having a crazy last few months travelling none stop and never giving ourselves any time to rest we had found ourselves exhausted. Once we arrived in Toronto I had the beginning signs of the flu and Stephen was feeling super run down - it was officially time for a break.

So, one beautiful Sunday morning we headed down to Toronto's harbour for a relaxing day cruising along Lake Ontario for a cheeky buffet brunch with Mariposa Cruises. It was time for us to take a break.

Once we arrived at the harbour around 11.30am we were greeted by a cute boat docked and ready for us to board. We checked in and found our table along side beautiful large windows giving us spectacular views during our entire 2 hour cruise. Toronto has one the prettiest skylines we have ever seen and was the perfect location for our peaceful Sunday brunch.

Once the engines were on and we began to leave the harbour we rushed outside to admire the city views. Once the skyline was far into the distance it was time for brunch.

We filled our plates with delicious pastries, fruits and some tasty french toast. We would be lying if we said we didn't have seconds...the food was too delicious to say no. For us, we love having sweets for brunch but for those savoury fans out there the buffet also included fresh salads, roast beef, and home style fries - delish!

Almost 2 hours had past, our bellies were full, and it was time to head back to the harbour. This was the perfect setting for us to unwind and take a moment to relax. If you find yourself in Toronto we think a Mariposa Cruise would be the perfect way to end a trip in this busy city. If you want to watch our day cruising along the Toronto Harbour, check out our daily vlog below...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9d0UwUaMFA

How do you like to unwind after a long trip?

Thanks to Mariposa Cruises for the lovely Sunday brunch. Our opinion, as always, is our own.
