8 OF THE BEST GLAMPING SPOTS IN THE WORLD

If we had to choose our favourite style of accommodation we would have to choose glamping. We just love the idea of experiencing nature in a more glamours way than your standard tent and blow-up mattress.

Here are our top 8 picks of best glamping spots from around the world...

Australia: Mile End Glamping

Located in the beautiful wine region of Margaret River in Australia’s Southwest you will find one of the most unique accommodations we have ever stayed in. If camping isn’t your thing, don’t be put off when you hear stories of travellers heading down south with campervans and tents, oh no these dome-shaped self contained villas at Mile End Glamping fall into the glamping “glamorous camping” category.

Located way off the main road on a Australian farm in a small town called Yelverton, we spent a night enjoying the relaxing sounds of nature & farm life while spotting kangaroos hopping by. Leave your phones and laptops behind (but make sure you bring your camera) because this is an off-the-grid luxury trip that you will never forget.

Another glamping tent we have had the pleasure of staying at. Hidden in the middle of the South African bushveld lies Ndaka Safari Lodge, surrounded by a 21,000 acre Big 5 game reserve – this is a Lion King lover’s dream.

The tent opens up into a lavish lounge room as your first corner leads you towards a king sized bed. Trust us when we say it’s hard to not just stop and fantasize about the incredible African sunrise you will see through your wall sized window. As you wander further you are lastly greeted by what we thought was the best bit … the bathroom. This tent has one of the most beautiful bathrooms we have ever seen … never thought we would be saying this about a tent! We recommend you run a bath, grab a book and watch as giraffe graze in the distance.
