5 UNIQUE & QUIRKY THINGS TO DO IN LONDON

During our recent visit to London we went on a quest to find as many unique & quirky things to do in this incredible city. Let us know in the comments below which of these 5 is at the top of your London to-do list!

1. The Cauldron Experience London

If there are any other Harry Potter fans out there, we have found the most magical thing to do here in London! At The Cauldron you can experience a magical cocktail class, where you brew 'potions' using interactive 'magic wands'. You can choose two out of the four cocktails to mix & create, all while wearing fabulous robes.

Those who attend the classes are encouraged to bring a copy of their favourite childhood book, which will be donated to a reading classroom in need - a lovely touch.

We filmed our entire experience if you want to see what a real life potions class looks like ...

Price & Location: off peak £29.99 & peak £34.99 / 7 Elephant Rd, London SE17 1LB, UK

2. B Afternoon Tea Bus Tour

While strolling along the streets of London we noticed a double decker bus pass by, but it wasn't your standard London bus - it was an Afternoon Tea Bus Tour! We booked our seats right then and there!

Brigit's Afternoon Tea Bus Tour drives you around Central London on a vintage double decker bus while you indulge on a delicious afternoon tea. Learning about the city's culture and history while sipping tea and eating an array of sandwiches and cakes has got to be one of the most unique things to do in the city.

During our tour we drove by Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St James's Park, Hyde Park, The Royal Albert Hall, Marble Arch, Nelson's Column and Downing Street - all while being served plenty of tea and so much food that we took a little box back to our hotel room!

Price: starts from £45.00

3. God's Own Junkyard

This neon lights and vintage sign store, known as God's Own Junkyard, is hidden unassuming in a warehouse in Walthamstow. The owner is known as the 'Neon Man' and his store has the largest store of neon & vintage signs in Europe and are the oldest sign makers in London.

While you explore this psychedelic store, you can also grab a coffee from the on-site cafe, called The Rolling Scones or head to the brewery across the yard, called Wild Card Brewery's.

If you are looking for a very unique souvenir to take home, all of their signs are for sale.

Location: Unit 12, Ravenswood Industrial Estate, Shernhall St, Walthamstow, London E17 9HQ, UK

4. Hot Tug Experience

The Hot Tug UK Experience is something we have only recently heard about, and we have added it to our must-do list when we head back to London next year. Hot Tug is an electric, wood-fired hot tub filled with 38C fresh water that you control as you drift up and down central London's canals in Old Street.

Each HotTug holds up to seven people and is probably one of the most bizarre, quirky and fun things we have ever seen!

Price: £225 off peak/ £250 peak for the whole HotTug (fits 7 people)

5. Unique Street Food at Camden Markets

London is full of quirky and alternative street foods to try. One of our favourite spots to go out to eat is Camden Markets, which is where you find a lot of these out-of-the-box food vendors.

A spot we highly recommend checking out isCereal Killer. This cult cafe is serving bowls full of 90s nostalgia. Dedicated to selling cereal, you can enjoy your sugar rush with 120 international varieties of branded cereal, 30 types of milk and 20 different toppings. They also sells Pop-Tarts, colourful maltshakes and stacked hot chocolates.

If you are a lover of pasta, another unique food spot in Camden is Cheese Wheel. Here they serve fresh, handmade fettincini ... with a twist. You first choose your sauce (white wine cream, mushroom cream or cream of tomato) before your hot pasta gets spun in a giant wheel of cheese for an extra, cheesy twist.

Location: Camden Market, Camden Lock Place, London, NW1 8AF
