10 THINGS YOU MUST DO IN TORONTO
1. Go up the CN Tower
Standing at 1,815 feet, the CN Tower is one of the most visited spots in all of Toronto. It was at one time the tallest freestanding tower in the world, now coming second behind the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Elevators will bring you to the top in less than a minute and once you arrive their are four observation areas to choose from - The Glass Floor Room, the Look Out Level, the 360 Revolving Restaurant and the Sky Pod (the highest observation area in the world!)

2. Explore Casa Loma
Did you know Toronto has its very own Castle? Completed in 1914, the castle has 98 rooms, full of secret tunnels and lavish furnishings – a castle definitely worth a visit here in Toronto.

3. Head over to the Toronto Islands
If you need a break from the city, jump on ferry over to the Toronto Islands. This collection of eight islands offers incredible views of Toronto's city skyline. There are no cars on the islands, making them a nice, peaceful place to go for a stroll, take a bike ride or have a picnic.
4. Visit the ROM Musuem
For museum lovers we highly recommend you check out the Royal Ontario Museum, Canada’s largest museum. Since its establishment in 1912, the ROM has accumulated more than six million artifacts, displaying everything from preserved Egyptian mummies to live Madagascar cockroaches!

5. Segway the Distillery District
Back in the early 1800s, Toronto was home to Canada's largest distilling company, Gooderham-Worts Distillery. Today, this historic pedestrian-only neighbourhood, with beautiful Victorian houses and paved with cobblestone, is filled with art galleries, workshops, cafés, restaurants and of course a brewery. We feel the best way to explore this area is via Segway!

6. Visit the Toronto Zoo
Modeled after the San Diego Zoo, this huge 700-acre zoo is a great way to spend the day - especially if you have kids. More than 500 species of animals from all around the globe can be seen. The Zoomobile can take you through the zoo's different terrains, which include Africa, the Americas, Indo-Malaysian, Australasia and, last but not least, Canada. We also suggest checking out the African Savannah walking safari, where you get to stroll through a traditional African marketplace, a bush camp, the Gorilla Rainforest and an elephant territory.
7. Wonder through Kensington Market
Kensington Market is one of Toronto’s oldest and most multicultural neighbourhoods. As colourful in real life as its history, Kensington Market is filled with quirky little shops and eateries. Everything from thrift shops to independent coffee spots and fresh produce galore.

8. Marvel at the Ontario Science Center
Known as one of the best science museums in the world, the Ontario Science Center is all about hands on experiences. Here you can peer into a black hole, shake hands with a robot, compose music using a fountain and grab a train to Hogwarts!
9. Spend a day at Niagara Falls
Toronto is only 1.5 hours away from Niagara Falls, so why not take a day to head out and see one of the most incredible natural wonders in North America. The amount of water that passes over the three waterfalls that make up Niagara Falls is incomprehensible, 6 million cubic feet of water every minute goes over the crestline and with the three waterfalls combined, it has the highest flow rate of any waterfall in the world - something you simply can not miss!

10. Brunch along Toronto's Harbour
Head over to Toronto's harbour side and take a cruise along Lake Ontario. Many cruises have a restaurant on board, so why not head out and have brunch on the water while over looking the city.

Many of these activities can be done using the Toronto CityPASS. For $64(adult) and $41(child) you can use the pass to go up the CN Tower, visit the Rom, explore Casa Loma, spend a day at Toronto Zoo and marvel at the Ontario Science Center. We think it is a pretty handy pass to have to check out the major attractions in the city of Toronto.
