SNOWSHOEING ADVENTURE IN JAPAN

We love to start off each year trying something that we have never done before ... for 2019, it was snowshoeing in Japan!

During our recent winter getaway we spent one magical morning on a snowshoe hike through the stunning landscape of Kannabe. Rugged up in our winter gear, we were strapped onto our snowshoes and off we went! Our guide from the Kannabe Nature School is hands down the most friendliest (and coolest) snowshoer we have ever met. He let us lead the way and brought along some snow scooters for us to use once we got to the top of the hills.

What made this morning all that more special was when our guide sat down in the snow, turned on a flame and started making us all fondue! In the brochure it did say a light snack was included, but we did not expect this! If you are thinking of heading to the Kansai region here in Japan for a winter escape we totally recommend checking this tour out!

Keep scrolling for our YouTube video we filmed of the day, and also a bunch of fun snaps!
