One of our favourite things we love doing during our travels is exploring along the beaten path, away from the tourist traps. A great way to do this is jumping on a bike and pedalling through areas that you can't access via car - and that's just what we did.

We had already seen Waikiki be sea and by land - it was time we saw this stunning island by air!

The best way to experience Oahu is by doing an all day circle island eco tour - and that's exactly what we did.

How could we not go to Hawaii without attending a traditional Hawaiian luau?

Coming from Australia we are both big lovers of all things water. Yet, there is one thing we have yet to accomplish ... surfing, and what a better place to learn than on the waves of Oahu, Hawaii.

We woke up at the crack of dawn and with sleepy eyes jumped on to our Discover Hawaii Tour bus and headed to the most visited site in all of Hawaii - Pearl Harbor.

From a distance we began to see bubbles appearing on the surface of the water. They dramatically increased until we saw a large white vessel arising from the sea. Today's venture entailed boarding an Atlantis Submarine and exploring the depths of Waikiki.

After our recent experience ATV riding through the Dubai sand dunes & horseback riding along the beaches of St Maarten we knew when we heard we could do both activities at the same place they filmed Jurassic Park we simply had to do it!

When we reached the island of Oahu in Hawaii we knew there was one thing we simply had to do - scuba dive. We hadn't dived in almost over a year and we were itching to jump back in and explore more of our vast oceans.
